Scurfing

Whoever invented scurfing deserves the Nobel prize in fun.
Items required: 1 Surfboard
                                  a long piece of rope
                                  a metal tube (for the handle)
                                   1 tender
                                  a group of willing participants (minimum number; 2. One driver and one scurfer.

 Then you can just hold and try to stand up.  Aboard the Soren Larsen the sport has been a favourite for crew and voyage crew a like.

Some people were born naturals, while others like me can still only managed to the knees at first, before finally getting up.
